- USA Jobs Act of 2009 offers tax incentives for companies to create jobs here at home, not offshore;
Families
- Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) will expand access to health care by making health insurance more affordable for small business employees and the self employed.
- Create new incentives for savings for a first home, college and to start a business.
- Expand tax deductions for the cost of child care.
- Expand access to tax incentives for college tuition and expenses.
- Increase limit on tax deductions for capital losses from savings and investments.
Renewable Energy
- Level the playing field for renewable fuel sources in Arkansas.
- Create certainty in the biofuels market.
- Allow self-generated biomass to qualify for Section 45 Renewable Electricity Production Tax Credit.
