Republican Caucus Votes To Block Financial Regulatory Reform Bill

In a key procedural vote this afternoon, the entire Republican Senate caucus (aside from two non-voting Senators) gave a big wet kiss to Wall Street by voting against bringing a financial regulatory reform bill to the Senate floor for debate.

We Couldn't Make This Up

In light of Sue Lowden’s preposterous suggestion that Americans barter and/or haggle for their health care, the DSCC (and late night comedians) politely suggested last week that trading chickens for health care, or similar bartering exercises, might not exactly work in today’s economy.
